Eyes blind with hunger, climbing ever higher.
A voice that don’t listen, a heart cold as stone,
Believing the throne’s meant for them alone.
But the wind don’t bow, and the sky don’t break,
For fools who stand tall for their own ego’s sake.
The mountain remembers each step you take,
And pride feeds the fault line before it will quake.
The fall comes sudden—a cold, bitter snap,
As the ground greets the mighty with death’s quiet clap.
For the higher you climb to escape the low,
The deeper the grave when it’s time to go.
